Energy Star Appliance Rebates

Selected EnergyStar rated appliances qualify* for mail-in rebates in the amounts from $25 to $100 per appliance. We're able to pass along these savings by using conservation funds set aside to help consumers like you conserve energy.

No matter what brand or what retail store you bought your EnergyStar rated appliance, the savings are simple:

Buy a front-loading clothes washer - get $50 back.

Buy a top-loading clothes washer - get $50 back.

Buy a refrigerator 12 cf. or larger - get $50 back.

Buy a freezer 12 cf. or larger - get $50 back.

Buy a dishwasher - get $50 back.

Buy a programmable thermostat - get $25 back.

Buy a room air conditioner that is 7,500 BTU or larger and has EER rating of 10 or more - get $25 back.

Buy and install a central air conditioner that has SEER rating of 14 or more - get $100 back.

*PLEASE NOTE: Limit of one (1) rebate per appliance type per residential account per year. No one utility account shall exceed four (4) rebates or $250 in year 2009. To qualify, you must be a residential customer of Chicopee Electric Light, and you will need to have your residential electric account number available. The purchase price of an appliance must be greater than twice the sought rebate amount for this appliance. The utility reserves the right to stop issuing any rebates at any time and without notice due to lack of funding. This appliance rebate offer cannot be combined with any other rebates or offers.
