What If I Now Heat My Water With Gas or Oil?

Currently, we do NOT offer any special incentives for converting from gas or oil to electricity when heating hot water in a residential unit. You may qualify for our residential off-peak water heating rate, however, which offers savings over our residential on-peak rate during off-peak hours.

If you would like to convert your water heating system to electricity, your location must comply with our requirements for installation of Vaughn rental hot water tanks. These requirements include but are not limited to:

• Proper water pressure in your residence, as per current local regulations.
• All-electric or two-meter residential accounts with off-peak installation.

 

All necessary changes to bring the location to conformity with our requirements are the sole responsibility of the customer.
